    • Personal Background

  • Judy started her career with a focus on architecture. She attended the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, earning a Masters in Architecture; and a Bachelor in Environmental Design from University of Puerto Rico. She worked for several years at architectural firms in the Chicago area, including residential, commercial and healthcare projects. When the opportunity came for Judy to be part of a renovation and property management project, she was ready for the change.
  • She started her experience in real estate, first with management, then with rentals. She soon found she was extremely passionate about helping people find a new home and got her real estate license. Now working with top producer, Burt Fujishima and his team, she is learning a great deal about the business.
  • With her background in architecture and design, Judy understands space and the importance of staging. Judy can look at a space and visualize how to use it best. She also knows the importance of strong photography and how it can impact a buyer's impression

    • Community Involvement

  • Judy currently resides in the West Loop where she is raising her daughter. Since moving to Chicago 15 years ago, she has lived in various communities, including: Lakeview, Old Town, Bronzeville and Gold Coast. She knows the communities well and has gotten very familiar with the schools in these areas. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Judy has made Chicago her home.
  • Judy is an active participant with the West Loop Community Organization, where she has assisted with several neighborhood projects, including improvements to Skinner Park green areas. An active member of the Catholic Church, she helped organize spiritual and social events for Notre Dame of Chicago, including feeding homeless individuals through Catholic Charities USA. When she is not doing business or volunteering, she enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, art and entertainment, ethnic foods and traveling.
